See which waters are worth the trip
Compare four daily windows across freshwater regions and coastlines in nine countries, then rank your own waters by species. New Swedish lake charts are rolling out, and a long-press reads depth where it is available.
- Regional Outlook compares dawn, midday, dusk and night over three days, then ranks your saved waters for the species you choose.
- The 10-day forecast calls the strongest day against the week. Open any day for its best hours, conditions and trip handoff.
- Tap any bite score to see what is carrying or holding back the window, the adjustments applied, the next 12 hours and confidence.
- Intelligence reads the target, place and hours against your log: what works, what holds you back, and the best windows for the species.
- Forecast, Conditions, Feeding and Stocks now sit together in the Almanac. Pressure, wind and water readings are under Conditions.
- The new charts make steep drop-offs and structure easier to read on Kullsjön, Sävelången, Härlanda Tjärn, Stora Delsjön and Rådasjön near Göteborg. Long-press a mark for depth, up to 0.5 m where it is available. More lakes follow in the coming weeks.
- Email lukasmeerschaut@pelagiclabs.io to request a lake or your local water. Swedish lakes take three days to a week.
- Mediterranean targets follow local seasons, while all nine Baltic basins include the species found there, with herring throughout. Norwegian coastal forecasts use official tide data, and every hour follows the water’s own clock.
- Pro anglers can crop one lure from a photo, confirm the details and save it straight to My Tackle Box.
- Photo Measure can start from an empty catch form. Correct a Photo ID result by choosing the right species and sending the update from the result sheet.
- Species availability follows local range and fishery rules. Closed fisheries are labelled, and local rules follow saved waters and planned trips.
- Marine tactics re-rank for shore, beach, rock, pier, harbour or boat, using depth, current and waves at the mark when available.
- Spot Oracle, Fish ID, Photo Measure, Drift and ecology tools now open with the answer first and clearer field controls.
- Forecasts, licences, species notes and tool guidance stay in your chosen language across all seven supported languages.
- Estimates and confidence are clearly labelled, untested waters stay unknown, and a score is withheld when local evidence cannot support one.
- Winter forecasts account for under-ice light, recent snowfall and late-ice conditions for perch, pike, European whitefish, Arctic char and roach.
- Import licences from Mail, Files or Photos, and keep licences, catches, blank sessions and saved spots available when signal drops.
- Fixes run through forecasts, maps, logging, Intelligence and onboarding. Curves keep their peaks, currents use the right units, and saved waters open in the right environment.
