Surf Jæren

Thirteen named breaks across Jæren, Vestfold, Stadlandet and Lofoten. Jæren is the working stretch of the southwest: eight beaches in a row, Borestranden through Brusand. Locals call Saltstein Steinane. Tide is not what decides whether this break works, so NORDR does not score it as one. Fetch, swell period and the wind angle against the beach do the deciding here.
