What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to website owners.

Cookies can be “session” cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent” cookies (remain until they expire or you delete them).

Cookieless first-party analytics

Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights load by default. They are cookieless, first-party page and performance metrics from our hosting provider. They are not advertising tools, they do not fingerprint you, and they do not follow you across other sites.

If you choose “No analytics” on the banner, we do not load them. Other non-essential cookies still wait until you accept.

What We Don't Use

Third-Party Analytics

No Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar

Advertising Cookies

No ad tracking or retargeting pixels

Social Media Cookies

No Facebook, Twitter, or social widgets

Cross-Site Tracking

No cross-site trackers of any kind

Managing Cookies

You can control and manage cookies in several ways:

  • Browser Settings: Most browsers allow you to refuse or accept cookies, delete existing cookies, and set preferences for certain websites.
  • Our Cookie Banner: When you first visit, you can keep the cookieless analytics or turn them off. Optional cookies wait for Accept. Reset your choice below, or clear the pelagiclabs_consent cookie, to see the banner again.
  • Device Settings: Your device may have settings that enable you to control cookies.

Note: Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect website functionality.

Future Changes

If we add advertising cookies, third-party marketing pixels, or other non-essential cookies, we will:

  1. Update this Cookie Policy with details about those cookies
  2. Ask for consent through the banner before they run
  3. Keep a way to change your choice
